State-of-the-art multi-purpose hall blends seamlessly with the landscape
HimmerLand Multihal is part of an extensive resort area South of Aalborg, which also includes attractions such as golf, spa, and sports facilities. The building houses a large conference hall, a multipurpose hall, a fitness centre, a studio with a golf simulator, and several meeting spaces.
Access to the complex is via a forecourt shaped into the terrain, guiding visitors into the building. From the spacious, light-filled foyer, guests can reach the various facilities: the fitness centre on the ground floor, the main hall, changing rooms, as well as meeting rooms and lounge areas on the first floor.
The terrain and the building’s form have been designed to integrate the roof surface into the landscape, featuring pathways, recreational and activity areas, and rooftop gardens. This approach supports rainwater management and creates habitats for wildlife and plants.
