James Snow Business Park Office

Nordic inspired head office building

The exposed offices in phase 1 are intended as an architectural link between the scale of the logistics buildings and the surrounding landscape. Based on the same design language as the warehouse offices, the office front creates a clear reference to the industrial whole and the design of the warehouse offices, while also marking an independent identity. The facade of the offices functions as a face to the outside, where an integrated wooden logo screen orients itself towards the surroundings and supports both wayfinding and the company’s visual identity.

The architecture of the offices is built on a system of refined boxes, which together with the wooden front appear lifted up on a transparent glass base. This composition gives the buildings a light and precise expression, where the solid and the transparent are balanced in a clear hierarchy. The glass base ensures visual contact between inside and outside, creates an inviting ground floor and supports daylight deep into the office areas.

The entire design language is rooted in a Nordic design tradition, where simplicity, functionality and honest materials are the guiding principles. The warmth and tactile quality of the wood contrasts with the industrial materials in the logistics buildings, but is tied together through proportioning, repetition and rigorous detailing.

Oxford Properties has had a strong focus on the Nordic approach in commissioning the project, and this is clearly expressed in the architecture of the offices. Here, rational construction is combined with a high level of aesthetic ambition, where light, materials and clear lines create a calm and timeless expression. The offices support both functional needs and social qualities and contribute to making James Snow Business Park more than a traditional logistics area – a coherent, identity-creating and future-proof business environment.
