Centrally located in Kolding, Daugaard Pedersen A/S has developed and constructed approximately 6,000 m² of office space, now home to Nykredit, Global Evolution, and Andersen Partners Law Firm. Norrplan has played a central role in the project as developer advisor to Andersen and Partners, who are also co-owners of the project.

The office building, known as the Plinten, takes its name from the distinctive plinth on which the building rests. The plinth functions as an active urban space with living areas, staircases and passageways, as well as an underground parking garage. The architectural approach – designed in collaboration with architect Jesper Thyge – gives the building a calm and natural anchorage in the city and creates a clear connection between architecture, landscape and urban life.

Norrplan has been involved in the early strategic considerations for completed construction and ready-to-move-in leases. For Andersen Partners Law Firm, Norrplan has developed an interior concept that supports the company’s professional identity and working methods. The interior design is characterized by clear spatial structures, solid materials and a balanced combination of representative zones and efficient work areas.

The building is designed as a solid brick building body in a modern/classical architecture with a focus on simplicity, durability and detail. The choice of materials is robust and timeless – created to patina beautifully and withstand both daily use and the test of time. The result is an office building that not only meets today’s requirements, but is also designed to stand strong far into the future.
