DSV Horsens is now Operational

The sheer scale of DSV’s new logistics centre in Horsens—the largest single-tenant logistics facility in Europe—is a landmark in European industrial construction. But the true achievement lies in its operational logic.

As the lead architects behind this 300,000 m² facility, Norrplan (then ak83 architects) has guided the project from the first sod in October 2021 to its operational launch. The facility integrates a massive cross-dock terminal with highly automated warehousing, all united by a cohesive architectural language that prioritises flow and employee welfare. This project sets a new standard for mega-scale logistics, proving that size does not have to compromise efficiency or human scale.
