A New Name and a Sharper Focus
With more than 40 years of architectural expertise behind us, we officially mark the beginning of a new chapter as Norrplan. Formerly known as ak83 architects, we company move forward with a renewed strategic direction following the separation of the previous partnership group.

While the Frederiksberg office continues independently with a broad architectural portfolio, Norrplan now operates from Aalborg and Copenhagen, strengthening our position as a specialist in industrial, warehouse, logistics, and office developments – while accelerating our presence on the international market.

Over the years, the same team behind Norrplan has contributed to some of the world’s largest logistics and warehouse facilities. This expertise forms the cornerstone of long-term collaborations with global partners such as JYSK, DSV, Maersk, and Oxford Properties, supporting them through complex expansions, optimisation, and sustainable transitions.

As the founder of the Danish Industrial Network—developed together with BLOXHUB and connecting more than 30 leading companies—Norrplan will continue to act as a central knowledge hub for optimisation, transition, and greener commercial construction.

Strengthening International Ambitions
We are intensifying our presence in key international markets, including Europe and North America.

CEO Morten Dahl explains:

“We want to raise the level of ambition across Europe and North America, where we already have a presence. Norrplan has just signed its next major warehouse agreement in the United States. The project will be built according to Danish standards, and we have entered into strategic partnerships with a number of local American architects in our export markets to ensure local expertise.”
