Matas' Logistics Centre in Lynge is Awarded DGNB Gold

A strong milestone for Matas – and an important benchmark for the logistics sector.

We are proud to have designed and developed Matas’ new logistics centre in Lynge, now awarded DGNB Gold.

It reflects a broader shift in industrial development: sustainability is no longer treated as an add-on, but as an integrated part of how future-ready facilities are planned and built.

This 32,500 m² facility was designed to support growth, automation, and faster delivery, while integrating long-term performance through lifecycle thinking, energy efficiency, and operational resilience.

With 1 MW of solar capacity, 30 heat pumps, and a focus on biodiversity and climate adaptation, it demonstrates how logistics facilities can deliver both operational performance and environmental value.
