Coop Oslo Administration

Efficient office design for optimal workflow

As part of COOP Norway’s impressive central warehouse in Oslo, the administration building stands as a symbol of the project’s efficiency and elegance. The architectural design combines rationality with refined details and black zinc-colored panels, giving the building a sophisticated expression. Visitors are guided in via the footbridge which seamlessly integrates with the warehouse, leading them to the main entrance. This architectural feature ensures a smooth transition between the different areas of the facility, while emphasizing a thoughtful design process.

The administration building is divided into two units, with one half housing facilities such as changing rooms, cafeteria, and meeting rooms, while the other half accommodates office spaces. On the second floor, the large communal cafeteria opens onto a breathtaking rooftop terrace with inspiring views of the surrounding landscape to the south.

The accompanying warehouse, with a storage capacity of 1.25 million cubic meters, plays a crucial role in supporting the national infrastructure and streamlining the company’s distribution network. Located in the Østland region of Norway, the warehouse is strategically positioned with regard to logistics, being near the airport and the main market in the Oslo area.
