The result of 20 years of partnership
For 20 years, Norrplan has guided the development of JYSK’s headquarters in Brabrand. The result is a workplace driven by innovative thinking, creating a pleasant working environment while respecting sustainability and local biodiversity.
The headquarters features energy-efficient solutions and colourful solar panels that reduce energy consumption and add character to the building. In the surrounding landscape, beehives have been installed to strengthen biodiversity within the garden areas.
Originally built in 2002 and expanded in 2010 and 2017, the building has a unique form inspired by a traditional four-winged farmhouse, reflecting local traditions and its natural setting. The new headquarters adapts seamlessly to the terrain while highlighting its beautiful location overlooking the Brabrand Valley.
