Campus for a Danish Company

An enclosed office campus

The project is conceived as a cohesive complex in which office and warehouse functions are integrated into a single, holistic structure. The office campus is organized around an enclosed courtyard that forms a protected and green focal point for the administrative functions, while the warehouse unit is strategically located at the periphery of the complex. This layout creates a clear functional separation and ensures that operations and daily use can take place in parallel without mutual interference.

The office buildings appear as a continuous perimeter development enclosing the courtyard. The façades are articulated with a stringent rhythm of vertical brick elements and deep-set window openings, giving the buildings a robust and timeless character. Variations in building heights and volumetric composition break down the overall scale and create a campus environment with a human and welcoming atmosphere.

The courtyard is designed as a landscaped garden and an active outdoor space for campus users. Zones are established for informal meetings, breaks, and larger shared gatherings and events. The enclosed structure shields the space from noise and visual intrusion from the surroundings, providing shelter and calm, so that the outdoor area is experienced as an internal oasis with a high quality of stay.

The warehouse unit is designed as a large, rational building volume with a focus on operational efficiency and flexibility. The façade expression is simple and robust, supporting the building’s industrial function, while materials and proportions are coordinated with the surrounding buildings to ensure a coherent architectural expression.

Arrival areas, parking, and goods access are arranged along the outer edges of the campus. This keeps the courtyard free from heavy traffic and technical functions, allowing the inner campus environment to function as a calm and green gathering place where work, recreation, and community come together in a unified architectural whole
