JYSK Sofia

Meeting the Needs of the Future

JYSKs new large distribution warehouse is located just outside the Bulgarian capital, Sofia. This building plays a significant role in the company’s distribution within the country and is thoughtfully designed to handle increased growth and expansions for many years to come.

The first phase involves two high-bay warehouses, each 10,000 m² in size and 43 meters high. In the long term, it is possible to expand with an additional three high-bay warehouses connected to the warehouse’s 460-meter-long main hall, which covers 65,000 m². The high-bay warehouses are designed with a varying sporadic pattern in two shades of silver, a recognizable design element in almost all JYSK distribution warehouses.

The main hall features light concrete elements, and the port gates are clad in white facade panels, similar to the administration and gate buildings. The light colors help reduce the heating of facades and roofs during summer. The building also includes a hotel area, as well as offices, meeting rooms, changing rooms, and a canteen with an adjacent elevated canteen terrace.
